As a solicitor, Mr Laing has advised clients in all aspects of child and family law as well as public law. He has been instructed in petitions to the nobile officium and a judicial review concerning child related issues which reached the Supreme Court.

Mr Merkc’s practice is multi-disciplinary and he brings considerable experience, particularly in employment, commercial, clinical negligence and personal injury law. He has served on the Advocate General’s Panel of Nominated Presenting Officers.
