TLT has raised £2,600 for the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice’s ‘Raise the Roof’ appeal, after braving the stormy weather and completing the Tour de Millport.

The hospice, which provides invaluable palliative care and support to help patients at the end of their lives and their families, is TLT’s Glasgow office’s charity of the year. The hospice is looking to raise a further £1.4m for a new state-of-the-art facility in Bellahouston Park in Glasgow.

A team of 13 TLT employees, accompanied by their friends and family, battled with gale force winds and heavy rain to cycle 70 laps of Great Cumbrae, otherwise known as Millport – a distance further than Glasgow to Paris.

The team was comprised of Sarah Ainslie, Aileen Irvine, Niall Hassard and his friend Daniel Menzies, Emma Hutchison, Louise McAlister, Michael McDougall, Stephen McGowan, Alice McLaughlin, Alan Munro and his wife and children, Stephanie Provan, Jonathan Rennie, Cameron Shaw and JP Sheridan and his children.

TLT is still accepting donations via its JustGiving page.
