Three geeks conquer three peaks

Three “geeks” from Blackadders Solicitors have put their bodies on the line to complete the “3 Peak Challenge”. This is a gruelling experience which involves scaling the three highest peaks in Wales, England and Scotland within just 24 hours.

The three members, Simon Allison, Jack Boyle and Andrew Wallace, who all work in the Blackadders employment law team - completed the challenge to raise funds for the Tayside Health Fund.

On Friday 4 September at 9pm, the team started the challenge in Gwynedd, climbing Mount Snowdon before making their way up Scafell Pike located in the Lake District and finishing with the unenviable task of scaling Ben Nevis. In total, the team climbed a combined total of 3407m.

The team kept themselves – and others – entertained on their journey via Twitter where users could follow their progress using the “#3Geeks3Peaks” hashtag.

Mr Wallace said: “As expected, the challenge was extremely tough and the legs were very sore come Monday morning but it was definitely worth it!”
