Thorntons provided collection points throughout November and December for Cash for Kids “Mission Christmas Appeal”.The appeal asks local people to buy an extra present which will be gifted to disadvantaged children in their community to brighten up their Christmas morning.

Lynda Sword, charity manager at Cash for Kids, said: “We have received such fantastic support for our Cash for Kids Mission Christmas Appeal every year and it really makes a big difference when local businesses get on board to support the collections.

“I’d like to thank Thorntons for its continued support for Cash for Kids and to all of its offices for offering a drop-off location for local communities.”

Thorntons – which also supports the charity wills campaign for Cash for Kids – collected 300 presents at its offices across the Radio Tay and Radio Forth listening areas in Dundee, Perth, Forfar, Montrose, Arbroath, Kirkcaldy, Edinburgh, St Andrews, Cupar and Anstruther this year.
