SYLA Spring Ball returns to Edinburgh

It is one of the most popular social fixtures in the Scottish legal calendar, with over 200 people attending annually.

The night will commence with a drinks reception, followed by a three-course meal with complimentary wine on all tables. The meal will be followed by live music.

Every year the SYLA has a charity raffle with great prizes and this year will be no different. This year it is supporting Maggie’s and all money raised will be donated to the centres.

Maggie’s provides free practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer and their family and friends, following the ideas about cancer care originally laid out by Maggie Keswick Jencks.

The first Maggie’s Centre opened in Edinburgh in 1996 and since then Maggie’s has continued to grow, with 20 centres at major NHS cancer hospitals in the UK and abroad.

Dress code is black tie. Friends and partners are very welcome.

Early bird tickets are £60 plus booking fee if purchased prior to 17 January 2020. Thereafter, individual tickets are £65 plus booking fee. Early bird tables of 10 will cost £600 plus booking fee if purchased prior to 17 January 2020. Thereafter, tables of 10 will cost £650 plus booking fee.

Once you have purchased your tickets, please email mail@syla.co.uk with a note of the names for your table or people you would like to sit next to and any special dietary requirements. Tables are for ten people. For group bookings requiring an invoice, please email mail@syla.co.uk. Please note a booking fee of £45 will still apply to bookings (or £5 will apply to individual tickets ). If you are in less than 10, we will still endeavour to sit groups at the same table.
