Student law clinic advisors invited to annual conference

The Scottish University Law Clinic Network (SULCN) has invited student advisors from law clinics to attend its annual conference later this month.

SULCN’s annual conference offers a fantastic opportunity to come together with fellow Student Advisors and learn new skills and gain updated knowledge to assist you on your law clinic journey.

This event is open to all existing Student Advisors from law clinics across Scotland, and will offer workshops in the areas of mental health, housing law, debt and money difficulties, and more.

Darren McGarvey, social commentator, acclaimed author, comedian, and rapper, focuses on poverty, inequality, class, addition, and mental health issues in Scotland, and will offer a unique insight into issues relative to the cost of living crisis. McGarvey’s book Poverty Safari won the Orwell Prize for Books, and focuses on the plight of people from deprived communities across Britain, whom he feels are misunderstood and often unheard.

“We look forward to welcoming you to Robert Gordon University for a day of learning, development, and inspiration,” SULCN said.

More information and tickets are available from Eventbrite.
