Strathclyde victorious in this year’s Sheriffs Cup Moot

The University of Strathclyde Mooting Society has won the annual Sheriff’s Cup Moot – a one-off moot between Strathclyde and Glasgow universities.

Strathclyde’s team, comprising Clara Smeaton andDrew Long won the title back from Glasgow this week.

The moot was organised by Sheriff Miller and was held in Glasgow Sheriff Court.

Lady Wolffe from the Court of Session came to act as judge on the problem which concerned assisted suicide/culpable homicide.
