Aberdein Considine has appointed Stewart Gordon as a partner in the firm’s Edinburgh office.

Mr Gordon joins the firm from Addleshaw Goddard, where he was a managing associate in the infrastructure, projects and energy team and brings more than 10 years’ experience in corporate and M&A work.

Ritchie Whyte, partner and head of corporate at Aberdein Considine LLP, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Stewart to our growing corporate and energy teams.

“Stewart brings more than a decade’s experience in successfully handling complex M&A and corporate transactions and in addition brings excellent renewable energy sector experience in onshore wind, hydro and solar projects.

Mr Gordon said: “I am delighted to be joining Aberdein Considine as partner at such an exciting time for the firm. I was attracted to this role by the firm’s objective in growing their corporate M&A practice in Edinburgh and the central belt, which aligns with my ambitions.

“In addition to M&A work, I look forward to assisting existing and new clients with general commercial contracts advisory work including renewables, EV charging, construction and data protection.”
