Shoosmiths’ debt recovery team voted best for second year running

Shoosmiths has celebrated repeated success at the 2017 Law Awards of Scotland after scooping the “Debt Recovery Team of the Year” accolade – for the second consecutive year.

In the 14th year of the awards, run by The Herald in association with organisations that include HR Consultancy and the Law Society of Scotland, the debt recovery team at Shoosmiths emerged top from a final shortlist of three.Edinburgh based lawyer, Courtney Clelland, who is part of the debt recovery team, was a finalist in the junior solicitor of the Year category.

The debt recovery team is led in Scotland by partners Rod Macphail and Andrew Foyle.

Mr Macphail, said: “It’s testament to the quality and innovative approach of the whole RSG team in Shoosmiths that we’ve again been named Debt Recovery Team of the Year at the 2017 Law Awards of Scotland. I also wish to congratulate Courtney Clelland whose talent has been recognised this evening as a finalist in the Junior Solicitor of the Year category.
