Shoosmiths has this week been named a LEX winner 2018/2019 in three of its categories. It follows analysis by student law firm guide, The Lex 100, of anonymous responses received from 2,800 trainees across 147 UK law firms.

In evaluating their firms, trainees assigned scores relating to different aspects of trainee life.

The LEX 100 confirmed that trainees at Shoosmiths anonymously assigned scores of 85 per cent for ‘job satisfaction’, 87 per cent for the ‘quality of work’ assigned to trainees and 86 per cent for ‘opportunities for client contact.’ The results confirmed Shoosmiths as the winning law firm in those categories.

Referring to the significance of the results, Janette Speed, partner and head of Shoosmiths office in Edinburgh, said: “Shoosmiths is immensely proud of these latest Lex 100 survey results.

“As a leading, innovative UK-wide law firm, our success in these categories underlines Shoosmiths’ commitment to afford employees a stimulating work environment in which every opportunity is given to meaningfully engage clients, develop industry knowledge, achieve individual potential and nurture a rewarding career path as a lawyer.”
