The Herald has published a full obituary for Sheriff Principal Ronald Ireland QC who passed away last month at the age of 91.
He was best-known for heading up a 1988 fatal accident inquiry at Aberdeen Sheriff Court into the explosion on the North Sea oil Rig Ocean Odyssey.
