Sheriff Principal Craig Turnbull to give speech on Sheriff Appeal Court

Sheriff Principal Craig Turnbull will consider the challenges and opportunities of the Sheriff Appeal Court in a speech to the Society of Solicitors in the Supreme Courts of Scotland.

He will tackle the subject at the next SSC Society meeting in the SSC Members’ Lounge, Parliament House, Edinburgh at 6pm on Tuesday 13 March.

Non-members are welcome to attend.

Sheriff Turnbull (pictured), based at Glasgow Sheriff Court, was appointed as a part-time sheriff in 2011 and became a full-time sheriff in 2014. He previously practised as a solicitor, becoming a partner at MacRoberts in 1997 and serving as managing partner from 2011 to 2014.
