Andrew C Ferguson, author of The Wrong Box, will be among speakers at the Byres Road Book Festival next Thursday in Glasgow.

Set in Edinburgh, The Wrong Box is a manically funny novel of lust, money, power and greed, which introduces the reader to the unlikely investigating pair, Simon English, commercial property lawyer and virulent Scotophobe, and Karen Clamp, an 18 stone seamstress from the Auchendrossan sink estate with an encyclopedic knowledge of council misdeeds.

Mr Ferguson is a local government solicitor who lives in Fife. He is author of the leading textbook on common good law, and co-author of non-fiction titles Legacy of the Sacred Chalice, and Local Planning Reviews in Scotland.

He is also a spoken word performer and musician, writing a regular blog at www.andrewcferguson.com.
