SCOLAG to host free event on environmental law and climate change

Climate change and the legal response to same is one of the most pressing and difficult issues in contemporary society. This free event will bring together all of those interested in the subject across the legal profession and academe to discuss how legal remedies can be developed. 

The seminar will be led by Dr Thomas Muinzer of the University of Aberdeen and chaired by Mark Lazarowicz, advocate. It will be of interest to law students, trainees, solicitors, advocates and academics with an interest in the subject area.

The event qualifies as CPD.

The seminar will take place on the 11th of February at 18:00 – 19:30 in the McKenzie Building, at the Faculty of Advocates, Old Assembly Cl, High St, Edinburgh EH1 1QX. Registration begins at 17:30. A drinks reception will follow the event.
