Promotions and new accreditation for Anderson Strathern family lawyers

The team has grown its client base across Scotland with the lateral hire of partner Janice Jones from Harper MacLeod in 2016 and with Ann-Marie Chalmers joining following the merger with Glasgow law firm Jeffrey Aitken in 2016.

Ms Chalmers has been promoted to senior associate and her work in family law has been recognised with a Law Society of Scotland specialist accreditation in family law. She joins Janice Jones as another accredited specialist within the team.

David Coutts has been promoted to associate as part of the firm’s investment in his work in the family law team.

Ms Chalmers said: “The specialist accreditation adds to the recognition of the expertise of the family law team.

“I am delighted to join Janice as a second accredited specialist in the team. The recent promotions and this news means our clients can be sure of an excellent level of experience in difficult and often emotionally charged life changing situations.”
