He is an experienced lawyer and the breadth of his knowledge of the sector will further strengthen the service offering to our clients from our central belt offices and add to the team’s growing reputation throughout Scotland”.

A member of the Agricultural Law Association (ALA), Mr Buchan advises landowners, farmers, conservationists and sporting enthusiasts and he has acted in a number of major Scottish acquisition deals, including commercials forests.

He said: “Blackadders provide quality legal advice that supports the whole of a rural business. They understand the rural sector and have the expertise to guide rural businesses on every aspect of their operation, for value. I am looking forward to being part of the team.”
