Perth-based Next Law is pleased to announce the appointment of Ross McNaughton as a partner in the firm.
His appointment comes as Laura Sutherland steps down from her role in retirement following several years as a co-founding Partner. Laura’s contribution to the success and development of the firm has been greatly appreciated, and we wish her all the very best for the future.
Ross joins the partnership at an exciting time for Next Law. The firm, which was founded in 2018, has enjoyed consistent year-on-year growth, with 2024/25 marking our highest turnover to date. Early indicators suggest that the current financial year is already on track to surpass that.
With significant experience in residential and agricultural property, Ross’s strong client relationships and commercial awareness make him a natural fit for the firm’s forward-looking approach.
Crawford Allan, Partner, commented: “I’m delighted to welcome Ross as Partner. He shares the values at the heart of our business – putting clients first, delivering high-quality advice, and working collaboratively. I’d also like to thank Laura for all she has contributed to the firm. We’ve achieved a great deal since 2018, and with Ross now on board, we look forward to this next chapter with confidence.”
Next Law continues to focus on delivering clear, responsive legal advice across property and private client services. The firm’s growth is built on long-standing client relationships, trusted referral partnerships, and a commitment to evolving with the needs of modern clients.
