Morton Fraser has been reappointed by the Ministry of Defence (MOD) to provide legal services in Scotland for the next three years.

The reappointment follows a competitive tendering process and will see Morton Fraser provide services in various areas including litigation, property, employment, planning, environment and debt recovery in Scotland.

The firm is home to one of the largest public sector teams in Scotland with over 80 specialists providing expertise to a range of clients including the UK Government, HMRC and the Home Office.

Morton Fraser has acted for the Ministry of Defence in Scotland since 2002.

CEO Chris Harte said: “We value the strong working relationship we have built with the Ministry of Defence and are very pleased to continue our work for another three years.

“In a time of unprecedented challenges to public sector organisations, we have a strong focus on the sector and our work with clients like the MOD draws on the breadth of specialist advice we can provide to our clients, from property to claims to employment.”
