McKee Campbell Morrison has acted for the Downs Family in the sale of Holy Loch Marina to the Tingdene Group, a landmark transaction in Scotland’s marine leisure sector.
Holy Loch Marina, located on the Firth of Clyde, has been a family-run business for over 25 years and is widely recognised as a key boating destination in the region.
The acquisition marks Tingdene Group’s first expansion into Scottish waters and reflects the marina’s strategic importance and strong reputation.
McKee Campbell Morrison provided comprehensive legal advice to the sellers throughout the transaction, including due diligence, contract negotiation, employment advice and all conveyancing.
Megan McDonald of Shoosmiths acted for the purchaser. The deal was brokered by Mark Lavery of Christie & Co.
Stacy Campbell, director and head of property at McKee Campbell Morrison, said: “We are proud to have supported the Downs family in this landmark sale.
“Holy Loch Marina is a cherished part of the local community in Dunoon, and it was a privilege to help ensure a smooth transition to new ownership while preserving the legacy built over decades.
“We extend our congratulations to Alison Allan and Stuart Downs and wish them continued success as they remain actively involved in the next chapter of the marina’s journey.”
