Law firm Lindsays has presented a trophy to Edinburgh Athletic Club in partnership with scottishathletics.

As the Lindsays Scottish Cross Country Season 2015-16 launches, the Lindsays Trophy was presented to last season’s club winners at Meadowbank Stadium.

The trophy forms part of the three-year partnership between Lindsays and scottishathletics, which also sees the award-winning law firm offer an exclusive package of legal services to scottishathletics members and clubs, which will result in further investment in the club network.

The deal was signed last year and will last until the 2016-17 season.

Ian Beattie, chief operating officer at Lindsays, said: “We are delighted to be continuing our partnership with scottishathletics to support the Scottish Cross Country Season which reinforces our commitment to the sport.

“I look forward to witnessing the on-going success of these events over the season and recognise the importance of the Season for athletes and clubs throughout Scotland.”

Nigel Holl, chief executive of scottishathletics, said last year: “We’re delighted that the partnership with an award winning Scottish legal firm includes a benefits package for our members and equally importantly for our clubs when they use Lindsays for their legal needs. It is great to ‘pass on’ benefits to our members in this way.”
