Lindsays has launched its new brand across Tayside – RSB Lindsays – following the completion of its merger with RSB Macdonald.

Lindsays, which was founded in 1815, now has 38 partners and 215 staff across its offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee and North Berwick. In Dundee, RSB Lindsays is based in the former RSB Macdonald city centre offices in Crichton Street and in Seabraes House at the west end.

Alasdair Cummings, managing partner of Lindsays said: “It is very positive to be growing the firm through this merger, which is in line with our strategic objectives.

“We look forward to the opportunities that our new colleagues will bring and to developing these opportunities going forward, ensuring that RSB Lindsays goes from strength to strength in Tayside.

“This is an exciting time for our firm as not only are we merging in Dundee but we are also celebrating our 200th anniversary this year.

“RSB Lindsays will continue to offer a personal approach to our clients and a focus on delivering an excellent service.”

In May 2012 Lindsays merged with Shield and Kyd, a long established Tayside firm with offices in Dundee and Edinburgh. Last year it relocated its Dundee premises to larger, modern, open-plan offices at Seabraes House.
