Lindsays continues to grow commercial property and rural teams

Lewis Crofts and Alison Mackay

Lindsays has welcomed professional support director Alison Mackay to its commercial property team and solicitor Lewis Crofts to its rural services team in Edinburgh.

Ms Mackay has over 22 years of legal experience gained in private practice, specialising in commercial property, and at the Law Society of Scotlandwhere she worked in their regulatory and professional practice teams. Her latter role involved providing advice and guidance to solicitors on a wide range of ethical and professional practice matters including anti-money laundering compliance, conflict of interest and risk management issues.

Mr Crofts has joined the rural services team as a recently qualified solicitor. His experience includes a variety of transactions including the purchase, sale and leasing of property across Scotland. He also assists developer clients with renewable energy transactions, primarily hydro and wind, across numerous Scottish estates.

Alasdair Cummings, managing partner with Lindsays, said: “I am delighted to welcome Alison and Lewis to Lindsays. Their appointment to our commercial property and rural teams demonstrates our continued growth and reflects the strong level of activity in these service areas.”
