Leonie Nimmons (née Donald) returns to the firm’s growing dispute resolution team as a consultant and will be based at its Aberdeen headquarters at Blenheim House.

Having left Aberdein Considine in 2018, Ms Nimmons divided her time in the intervening years between running her family property business and teaching Dundee Law School diploma students about dispute resolution and litigation, using course materials she developed herself.

She said: “I jumped at the chance to return to Aberdein Considine and to legal practice, especially at such an exciting time for the firm. I very much look forward to working with all my previous clients and colleagues in my home town of Aberdeen, as well as supporting the team’s work nationally.

“Spending a few years focusing my professional energies elsewhere has been both fulfilling and enlightening. I know that the experience and knowledge I’ve gleaned spearheading an SME in today’s challenging business landscape will prove indispensable as I return to a client-facing role.”

Ms Nimmons originally joined Aberdein Considine in autumn 2013 as Partner in Dispute Resolution.
