Lefevre Litigation opens new offices following fire

The new offices of Aberdeen-based Lefevre Litigation open today following a fire that destroyed the firm’s former premises before Christmas.

The blaze at Carden Place destroyed the building which also houses restaurant Valentino’s.

The fire broke out after staff at Valentino’s had their Christmas party. More than 40 firefighters fought the blaze before it was extinguished.

Station commander Bryan Nelson said the fire was “large and challenging” and that it took a “sustained effort” from firefighters to bring it under control.

The firm told SLN: “Our offices were completely destroyed in a devastating fire on 23 December 2019 but we are pleased to announce that our new offices at 40 Carden Place, Aberdeen, AB101UP will open for business today ensuring no interruption to our services.

“We wish to thank the Aberdeen legal community for their kindness and support at a difficult time.”

Detective Inspector Jackie Knight previously said the cause of the fire remained “unknown”.
