Lawyers appointed to Parole Board for Scotland

The Parole Board for Scotland has appointed a number of lawyers as both legal and general members.
Solicitors Kathryn Dawson and Julia Maclaren and academic Gillian McIvor, professor of criminology at Stirling University, have been appointed as general members.
The following have been appointed as legal members: advocates Simon Di Rollo, Bruce Erroch, Wendy Hay and David Nicolson; solicitors Emma Doyle, Jill Malloy, James McLean; and solicitor advocate Kate Phillips.
The appointments are for six years and run from 1 April 2018 until 31 March 2024. General Members receive a daily fee of £205.00.
Legal Members receive a daily fee of £318.00 unless acting in the capacity of a General Member when they will receive the lower daily fee of £205.00. All Members commit to around eight to ten days per month.
