Law firm recognised for a job wool done

A client was so pleased with the service she received from a paralegal at law firm McDougall McQueen that she named her lambs after the employee.

After dealing with Jenni Bruce in the Penicuik office during the lambing season, client Lynn promised she would name one of the new flock after Ms Bruce.

In the event, her sheep had twins – whom she named Jenni and Bruce.

Lynn said: “We were delighted with the lovely, friendly and efficient service from McDougall McQueen and what better way to show that by naming our lambs after Jenni. I’ve promised her the next lambs are to be called McDougall and McQueen!”

And this is not the first time McDougall McQueen employees have been so honoured.

Partner Mary McQueen said: “Earlier this year, a client named two of their hens after us, after being delighted with our service.

“We put the client’s property on the market on the Friday, received and dealt with an offer on the Saturday and concluded missives on the Monday.

“They named their hens Kim and Carol, after two of the staff in our Penicuik sales team!”
