Ms Mearns has joined Aberdein Considine in a newly created corporate benefits adviser role, bringing with her over 10 years’ experience working with a range of clients across the country.

She will be responsible for advising employers on the design and operation of their employee benefits packages, with a particular focus on workplace savings, group risk benefits, health and wellbeing strategies and benefit communication.

Peter Mutch, corporate benefits director, Aberdein Considine said: “We’re extremely pleased to attract someone with Katie’s experience and expertise and she will be a valuable addition to our team.

“The subject of employee benefits packages has become more important than ever, especially when competition for the best talent is greater than ever.

“These packages, from pensions to business protection, can be a complex area for businesses to manage and it’s vital they have the support when and where they need it.”
