Ian Tait
The Courier has published an obituary for Perth solicitor, Ian Tait, who has died at the age of 77.
“Perth solicitor Ian Tait, a Cambridge graduate who built a long legal career in Scotland and was known for his dedication to family, history and travel, has died at the age of 77.
“Born on February 27 1948, in Bishopton, near Paisley, Ian was the son of John Valdemar Tait, known as Val, and Jemima, known as Mina.
“He spent his early years in Paisley before moving at the age of 11 to Beckenham, Kent.
“After leaving school, he embarked on an adventurous journey that would remain a defining story of his youth. He travelled across the deserts of Iran by jeep with three friends.”
