GMB Scottish Judiciary Branch invites new members

The branch represents the interests of all judicial office holders in Scotland, both in the tribunals and courts.

Keir Greenaway, GMB Scotland senior organiser, said: “The judiciary in any country performs a crucial public service.  It is imperative that the conditions under which they work are fair and equivalent to those in other comparable jurisdictions. 

“We are already working hard with GMB Scottish Judiciary branch members to secure the terms and conditions they deserve. 

“This includes on pay, adequate working time, pension and judicial security, to name some of the areas. The Scottish Judiciary Branch builds on our Judges’ Branch in England and Wales, where significant steps have been taken.”
