Glasgow IP specialist one of 23 partner promotions at Pinsent Masons

Intellectual property and IT specialist David Woods has been promoted to partner at Pinsent Masons.

The Glasgow-based lawyer is one of 23 individuals who will assume partnership with effect from 1 May.

Dual qualified to practice in Scotland and in England and Wales, Mr Woods specialises in disputes concerning trade mark infringement, copyright infringement and passing off, and in advising on brand and domain name issues. He has acted for a broad range of retail, technology, energy and financial services organisations and has significant experience of large scale litigation and of advising on alternative forms of dispute resolution.
