The recognition follows a strong track record of community investment and responsible business practices. For the second consecutive year, the firm has been recognised by a Scottish Legal awards programme for its commitment to making a positive impact in the communities it serves, having won the ESG Award at the Herald Law Awards 2025.

Over the past decade, Gillespie Macandrew has donated more than £350,000 to charitable causes across Scotland. As part of its ESG strategy, the firm donates a percentage of its pre-tax profits each year, with charity partners selected by colleagues through a democratic process and aligned with the firms chosen UN Sustainable Development Goals.
