And finally… wardens handcuffed in prison ‘orgy’ must face the music

Police found the three wardens handcuffed and naked the morning after the jailbreak at the Nova Mutum jail near Cuiaba, the capital city of the state of Mato Grosso in central Brazil.

28 prisoners escaped after the women spiked the guards’ drinks and “convinced” them to have an orgy.

The women arrived at the prison at 3am on Thursday, asking if they could come in for a drink and a chat, the police said.

Obliging, the prison guards allowed them in and were soon coaxed into leaving their posts.

After the women drugged and handcuffed the three wardens, they unlocked every cell in the prison according to chief of police Angelina de Andrades Ferrerira.

She said at a news conference: “The plan was to seduce them. They served them cheap whisky with some substance to knock them out, then unlocked the central gate which accesses the internal cells.

“Whoever wanted to escape left by the front door. From the moment they drank the whisky the agents don’t remember a thing.

“One was found dizzy, trying to wake up. Another slept for the whole afternoon and couldn’t even be questioned.”

The dozens of prisoners who chose to leave stole guns and ammunition from the prison’s weapon cache.

They took two 38-calibre revolvers and three 12-calibre riles.

A bag containing lingerie and skimpy police outfits was found and is believed to have been used by the women in their seduction.

Eight prisoners have been recaptured, one after wandering around drunk in Nova Mutum and another after stealing a truck from a farm and crashing it.

In addition, the three prison wardens received new handcuffs after they were arrested and have been charged with “facilitating a jailbreak” and “culpable embezzlement”.
