A man in Australia has threatened to blow a McDonald’s up while dressed as a woman.

Instead of the usual thief attire, the 6ft man entered the restaurant in Melbourne in a blonde wig, high heels and fishnet stockings, and with heavy stubble on his jaw – telling workers he had a detonator in a plastic cup.

He then demanded cash from staff before dropping some of it and throwing his wig off as he fled the scene.

Police were forced to waste time searching for the non-existent bomb.

A judge in Massachusetts has dismissed charges made against a woman who threw uncooked sausages and bacon into a police station after she claimed she was there to “feed the piggies”.

Lindsay McNamara, 24, was charged with malicious destruction of property as well as disorderly conduct after she was caught on CCTV committing the actMetroWest Daily News reports.

Ms McNamara entered the station in Framingham with the meat in a box and started throwing it and smearing it across a dispatch window.

But the judge said there was little evidence she had damaged anything.

However, the judge added the charge could be restored so long as the police can prove damage was caused.

It is not known why Ms McNamara thought “piggies” eat bacon.
