DWF has been recognised with a “Commitment Marque of Excellence”, the national standard that recognises high levels of organisational performance.

DWF is the only law firm that currently holds the standard. The Commitment Marque was awarded to DWF by the North of England Excellence (NoEE) organisation as part of the European EFQM accreditation programme.

Deborah Abraham, director of risk management and excellence, said: “We are committed to developing a culture of excellence across the firm for our people and clients, and we’re delighted to have secured the Commitment Marque as recognition of our progress to date.

“We continue to invest in key infrastructure, technology and talent to strengthen our business and ensure we are well placed to deliver excellent service for our clients.”

Andrew Palmer, chief executive of North of England Excellence, said: “DWF’s accreditation of the Commitment Marque is proof that companies operating in the UK have a readiness to be best in class, run outstanding operations and, more importantly, achieve sustainable results.

“Furthermore, it is testament to the fact that business excellence not only improves quality and performance but also benefits the bottom line. It illustrates how a commitment to the continuous improvement journey brings tangible success in terms of competitiveness, creativity and innovation.”

North of England Excellence is a not for profit organisation that supports businesses to deliver strategic objectives to improve performance through organisational excellence.
