Dundee University ranked 3rd for law in UK

Congratulations are due to the University of Dundee, which has been ranked third for law in this year’s Guardian University guide.

The university tweeted: “We’re elated with this result, and many thanks to all those staff, administrators and students that made it possible!”

The University of Cambridge was ranked first, while Oxford University took second place.

Two other Scottish universities appeared in the top ten, Abertay University came seventh while Glasgow took ninth place.

Dundee scored particularly well for career prospects, with a result of 92, secondly only to UCL in the top ten.

Professor Stuart Cross, of Dundee Law School, told Scottish Legal News: “This is an outstanding result which reflects the strong partnership between staff and students at Dundee which is built on a commitment to academic and practical excellence and recognises the importance of supporting students in their academic journey.

“This result means that Dundee Law School is now ranked in the top 10 in all three main UK University league tables.”
