Dr Graeme Brown to discuss problems with rape sentencing

The problems with rape sentencing will be the topic of a talk delivered in Edinburgh next month by Dr Graeme Brown.
Dr Brown, whose book on the topic is soon to be published, will speak at a meeting of the Society of Solicitors in the Supreme Courts of Scotland (SSC Society) on Tuesday 3 December 2019.
Dr Brown was admitted as a solicitor in 2001 and is currently an assistant professor in criminal law at Durham University.
He was previously a professional support lawyer to the appeal court and an honorary fellow in law at Edinburgh Law School.
