Digby Brown sees profits jump to £8.6m

Digby Brown has reported a jump in profits from £7.8 million to £8.6m in the year ending March 2016. Revenue rose to £27.3m, up from £24.6m in the previous year, a 10.9 per cent increase.Highlights in 2016 for the firm have included:

  • Being named “Law Firm of the Year” at the Law Awards of Scotland. The firm were also named Corporate Social Responsibility Firm of the Year.
  • Becoming the first law firm in the UK to achieve platinum accreditation from Investors in People.
  • A number of important promotions, including those of Euan Love, Stuart Barton and Lianda Barnes to partner.
  • Winning important court decisions on behalf of Digby Brown clients in the UK Supreme Court (Tracey Kennedy v Cordia (Services) Ltd) and Court of Session (Roger Harris v The Advocate General for Scotland and Brenda Gray & Ors v The Advocate General for Scotland).
