A team of 18 from Dentons’ Glasgow office have raised just over £6,000 for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity after taking part in the annual Kiltwalk.
Staff from the firm tackled two challenging routes on Sunday, 27 April: the 22.6-mile Mighty Stride and the 14-mile Big Stroll.
Those taking on the Mighty Stride began at Glasgow Green, while Big Stroll participants started in Clydebank. Both routes finished in Balloch.
Collectively, the Dentons team covered an impressive 338 miles during the charity challenge.
Commenting on the team’s effort, tax partner Lorna McCaa said: “Dentons Glasgow office is enjoying working with the GCHC to raise funds to support the excellent work they do. The Kiltwalk was a great opportunity to join with others supporting charities and to encourage colleagues, friends and families to sponsor our team. I’ve never been so happy to arrive in Balloch!”
Elizabeth Downie, practice support workflow coordinator, added: “My first Kiltwalk was a great success and I will do it again. I had a lovely time meeting and chatting to likeminded people raising funds for a worthy cause.”
