Dentons has advised the John Lewis Partnership on Waitrose’s acquisition of Dishpatch, the meal-kit delivery service that provides restaurant-quality home dining in collaboration with some of the UK’s leading chefs.

Dishpatch, founded in 2020, replicates a restaurant experience without leaving the house with chef-designed dishes from the likes of Angela Hartnett, Michel Roux Jr, Rick Stein, Sabrina Ghayour and others.

Claire Betty, partner & head of legal at John Lewis Partnership, said: “We are grateful for Dentons seamless collaboration with our in-house counsel, along with their pragmatic approach and responsiveness, which played a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of the deal.”

Claire Armstrong, managing partner Scotland commented: “We’re delighted to advise longstanding client, the John Lewis Partnership, and Waitrose to help achieve its ambitions.”
