Edinburgh has taken the baton from Sydney and the count down is now on to ICCA 2020 in Edinburgh.

On Wednesday, following the closing keynote speech at ICCA Sydney, Andrew Mackenzie, chief executive of the Scottish Arbitration Centre, and Brandon Malone, chairman of the board of the centre, discussed ICCA Edinburgh.

Mr Mackenzie congratulated the Sydney and New Zealand hosts and introduced Mr Malone as the next Congress chair.

In his speech to delegates, Mr Malone said: We in Scotland are eager to engage with the world of international arbitration and I hope that you are all looking forward to joining us, to enjoy our hospitality, and to participate in what will be, in arbitration terms, the blossoming of a new Scottish enlightenment.

A promotion video the followed, featuring the First Minister, the Lord President and Sir David Edward QC, honorary president of the centre.

Delegates were also treated to a taste of what Edinburgh will offer from the Manly Warringah Pipe Band as the Scottish Arbitration Centre asked everyone to Look to Scotland.
