Compass team to tackle 85-mile Etape Caledonia to raise funds for Revive MS

A Compass Chambers team will be cycling 85 miles through the Scottish Highlands when they take part in the Etape Caledonia to raise funds for Revive MS.

Elaine Russell, Grant Markie, Cameron Smith and Gordon Balfour will all be taking on the 85 mile course on 14th May 2023. It begins in Pitlochry and consists of rolling hills and forest-lined roads around Loch Rannoch and Loch Tummel, combined with the demanding, twisting five-mile climb of Mt Schiehallion.

All funds raised will go to Revive MS – the stable’s nominated charity for 2023. Revive MS is the leading provider of support for people in the West of Scotland who are affected by Multiple Sclerosis.

The charity was set up in 1984 by people living with MS and their families, and helps people manage the physical, emotional, social, and financial impacts that come with a diagnosis of MS. Anyone affected by MS can use Revive’s services, and can be referred by a health or social care professional or self-refer.

Donations can be made through the stable’s JustGiving page.
