CMS to host tourism recovery event

CMS is to hold a free seminar for Scotland’s travel and tourism sector as it navigates its way through the pandemic.
The firm’s Rebound and Remodel event, which takes place on Tuesday 27 October at 16:00, will focus on how Scotland’s tourism sector can bounce back from the impact of social distancing measures and global travel restrictions brought on by Covid-19. It will also address other long term, pressing concerns about over-tourism and sustainability.
The virtual event will include guest speakers Vicki Miller, director of marketing & digital at visitscotland, Travels With A Kilt blogger Neil Robertson, and Gregor Famira, a hotels and leisure sector specialist from CMS Croatia.
Roland Smyth, head of the tourism in Scotland group at CMS, said: “Our event, aimed at senior managers within Scotland’s tourism sector, will focus on overcoming the impact of the pandemic and meeting the long-term challenges in achieving sustainable and successful growth.
