Calling all students…see life at the bar

University students with an eye on a career in advocacy are being invited to visit the Faculty of Advocates to learn about the Scottish bar, its members and their work.
Places are limited on the Advocacy and Presentational Skills Training Workshop and will be offered to those who demonstrate a keen interest in advocacy.
The event is being held on Monday, 12 December, with morning and afternoon sessions. After an introduction to the Faculty, students will undertake a practical workshop to teach them about advocacy and presentational skills before having a chance to observe these skills in use in court.
