BTO Solicitors LLP is supporting the Helensburgh Art Club’s Annual Exhibition once again, returning as headline sponsor for the fourth consecutive year. The eagerly awaited 73rd exhibition and sale will take place from 7 to 10 August 2026 at the Victoria Halls, Helensburgh.

Art enthusiasts from Helensburgh, Lomond and beyond are warmly invited to explore a vibrant showcase of creativity featuring approximately 200 original works in oil, acrylic, watercolour and mixed media. A selection of handcrafted work, including textile art and jewellery created by the Club’s gifted members, will also be available for purchase.

The exhibition will be officially opened at a private preview evening on Thursday 6 August by Bruce Battersby, a partner in BTO’s wills, estates & succession planning team, who has served clients in the Helensburgh area for a number of years.

Iain MacLaren, president of Helensburgh Art Club, said: “We are extremely grateful to BTO for its continued and generous support of Helensburgh Art Club. As headline sponsor for the fourth consecutive year, BTO’s commitment makes a meaningful contribution to the success of our Annual Exhibition and to the Club’s wider programme of activity, including our Spring and Autumn one-day sales.

“This support helps us continue to invest in improvements to our exhibition, enhancing the experience for both artists and visitors. The Annual Exhibition is an important opportunity to celebrate the creativity and talent of our members, and we look forward to welcoming the community to enjoy another varied and inspiring showcase of original work.”

As per last year, there will be a Young Artist Award, inviting senior pupils from Lomond School and Hermitage Academy to submit their artwork. This award is provided to acknowledge aspiring young talent, and winning entries will be on display at the exhibition. The winner of the prestigious Mary Batchelor Award for the best seascape will also be on display during the event.

Mr Battersby commented: “We’re delighted to continue our support for Helensburgh Art Club’s Annual Exhibition in 2026. This much-loved event is a real highlight of the summer calendar and provides a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the breadth and quality of artistic talent across Helensburgh, Lomond and the surrounding area.
