Art enthusiasts from Helensburgh, Lomond and beyond are warmly invited to explore a vibrant showcase of creativity featuring approximately 200 original works in oil, acrylic, watercolour and mixed media. A selection of handcrafted work, including textile art and jewellery created by the Club’s gifted members, will also be available for purchase.

The exhibition will be officially opened at a private preview evening on Thursday 6 August by Bruce Battersby, a partner in BTO’s wills, estates & succession planning team, who has served clients in the Helensburgh area for a number of years.

As per last year, there will be a Young Artist Award, inviting senior pupils from Lomond School and Hermitage Academy to submit their artwork. This award is provided to acknowledge aspiring young talent, and winning entries will be on display at the exhibition. The winner of the prestigious Mary Batchelor Award for the best seascape will also be on display during the event.

Mr Battersby commented: “We’re delighted to continue our support for Helensburgh Art Club’s Annual Exhibition in 2026. This much-loved event is a real highlight of the summer calendar and provides a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the breadth and quality of artistic talent across Helensburgh, Lomond and the surrounding area.
