Sarah Lilley and Rachael Noble have become accredited specialists in family law mediation while Donna McKay has become an accredited specialist in child law. Ms Noble and Garry Sturrock have also been accredited as family law specialists.

The accreditations by the Law Society are granted once a lawyer satisfies criteria in terms of their ability to deal with complex cases.

Donna McKay, senior associate, based in Aberdeen, said: “Achieving the status of accredited specialist shows our clients that we have some of the most in-depth knowledge of family law in Scotland, and demonstrates our commitment to resolving any disputes as often as possible without going to court. It’s a recognition of significant hard work and it is extremely satisfying to reach this milestone.”
