Bill Barton joins Brodies as firm opens Leeds office

Brodies LLP has appointed new partner Bill Barton and will be opening an office in Leeds to support the growth of its construction practice.
Mr Barton has specialised in contentious and non-contentious construction law for over 30 years. With experience across a broad range of sectors, including industrial, education and renewable energy, he also acts for specialist sub-contractors, colleges and developers providing advice on contracts, adjudication, arbitration and litigation. He advises on international contracts and is a qualified mediator and Fellow of the Institute of Arbitrators.
Mr Barton’s team of eight lawyers has also joined Brodies and will be based out of the new Leeds office which will add to the firm’s existing offices in London and throughout Scotland.
