Axiom welcomes new member Scott Manson

Axiom Advocates is delighted to welcome Scott Manson to the stable. Mr Manson called to the bar in 2014 as a Lord Reid and Faculty Scholar. Since then he has been widely instructed by solicitors across a range of commercial, insurance and property disputes. He is described by instructing agents as “robust and consistently impressive” but “live to the commercial realities of litigation”. He “can be trusted to fight your corner and is confident and unflappable on his feet”. Agents commend his approachable manner and ability to cut through complex issues in a way which clients understand.

Mr Manson regularly appears in the Commercial Court, Outer House and Sheriff Court on behalf of banks, contractors, insurers, property companies, professional advisers and insolvency practitioners. He is frequently instructed to draft and present applications in relation to insolvency proceedings in both the Court of Session and Sheriff Court.

He is also well instructed in the field of professional negligence and has experience of acting for and against solicitors, accountants, architects, engineers and pension advisers and has been instructed in a number of high value and complex construction project litigations.
