And finally… your computer was not shut down properly
An American man found himself in trouble with the law after he became so frustrated with his computer that he took it outside and shot it eight times.
Lucas Hinch was detained for discharging a firearm in the city Colorado Springs in Colorado.
A police spokesman said: “He was having technology problems, so he took it to the back alley and destroyed it.”
Mr Hinch did not realise he was breaking any law by firing his gun at the machine.
Police spokesman Jeff Strossner told the Colorado Springs Gazette that Mr Hinch “… got tired of fighting with his computer for the last several months.”
The newspaper said Mr Hinch “shot the darn thing” after the usual method of pressing ctrl+alt+delete failed “consistently”.
A judge is to decide on Mr Hinch’s penalty.
The Gazette added: “He was able to wreak the kind of revenge most of us only dream about.
“The computer is not expected to recover.”
