And finally… transport-obsessed law student breaks world record
An American law student has broken the record for traversing New York City’s subway system in the fastest time.
Matthew Ahn, for some reason, took on the city’s huge public transport system throughout its five boroughs, running between platforms to make the next train.
He managed the feat in 21 hours, 49 minutes and 35 seconds earlier this year.
Mr Ahn has a reputation for being obsessed with public transport, especially the subway system.
The record was brought to his attention while studying for the bar exam and he finally broke it on his fourth attempt.
He celebrated his success by “eating an incredible amount of food at a diner, and then heading home.”
