Nadine Kelbie, 22, and Andrew Mason, 23, were caught with the items, which had been stolen from a flat on the floor below earlier on the same night.

Dundee Sheriff Court heard that the couple told police they had bought a bag of items, including the sex toy and biscuits, from a man for £50, the Dundee Evening Telegraph reports.

The bag also contained a pair of trainers, adult and baby clothes, a bottle of perfume and a clock.

The pair have been released on bail pending sentencing next month.
